About

Mark

Theological Oddments is a blog for occasional thoughts on theology, Bible, and church. Mark, your present blogger, graduated from St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN with a degree in Mathematics and Physics and went on to study at Luther Seminary in St. Paul. He grew up in Southwestern Minnesota, spent much of his life living in that state, and currently lives in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Mark works for his denominational publishing house as an author relations specialist, working primarily with its academic imprint. The views and ideas expressed here, however, are entirely his own, not those of his employer.

Mark has interests in photography, science (especially physics, astronomy, and mathematics), cooking, bread baking, history, theology, music, and politics. He also loves to travel when he gets the chance, and often sees the places he travels to more through a camera lens than otherwise. You can find some of these interests explored at his general blog “Restenergy Blog” (see link section below).
