Why the name “Restenergy”?

You might recall Albert Einstein’s famous equation from 1905: E=mc2.  It defines the inherent energy of a particle of mass m when at rest.  E is sometimes called the “rest energy” of the particle.  Having been a physics major and having the initials MCC, it’s a short step to “Restenergy.”
